Week 31: FREE MILK

St. Louis Temple

Brand new car

Wednesday- I am grateful for Mexican food.
Thursday- I am grateful for technology.
Friday- I am grateful for driving around.
Saturday- I am grateful for the weekend and listening to promises.
Sunday- I am grateful for chill conversations and Brazil.
Monday- I am grateful for sunsets and being reminded of my purpose/testimony.

Fun wild life

Wowwwww what a difference in missions. This is insaneeeeee. I went from not even a bike to a 2019 fancy car and from a literal brick as a phone and 3 hours of technology each week to being on my genius phone for the majority of my week.

Jefferson City and Elder Hobert

I am grateful to be here and feel that I have so much to learn. My comp is Elder Hobert from Syracuse and he's got 20 months out on the mish so he's nearly done, he's a good guy.

Cool train tracks, BOM and me

We spend most of our day calling people and trying to teach or scheduling to teach and all that stuff, it's interesting. I've gotten discouraged multiple times and wondered why send me back out if I can't walk in the hot sun all day talking to people. I've listened to some very good talks that have helped change my perspective and I'm happier :)

I'm pretty happy

Saint Louis Missouri mission is definitely going to take some getting used to but there's nothing wrong with that.
We were able to teach ONE lesson since I've been here and it hit me right back into focus mentally and spiritually. We taught the Restoration and I felt the Spirit very strongly and remembered why I am sitting in Missouri.

Gorgeous sunsets

I love being able to drive every day.

I can read messages literally anytime pretty much so if you ever have an idea or wanna tell me joke or are very bored and want to rant to me or tell me every little thing about your day I would be very happy to hear it.
So we work a lot on Facebook, like nearly the whole day, but anyways we are the Facebook page for our ward and someone in our ward who owns a pasture or something is giving away free milk for a whole day and I'm hyped for tomorrow now.

Picture from the Bishop

Friend me on Facebook and like my stuff, I try to put something on my story every day, It's probably real annoying for y'all but I try to be creative.

Love,

  1. Hi Elder Morrison, I'm not getting my notes to stay connected to this box. If this one doesn't work, I give up. I'll use regular email - that I understand. Anyway, I can see you are struggling with the Northern American variety of humidity. Must be a little different from you found south of the Equator. I hope you are finding it easier to do your gospel study in English, you don't need to sit there and wonder what to translate as you read in Portuguese.
Ukulele? I thought that was Collin's thing - - -stringed instruments. Get used to seeing lots of streams, lakes and reservoirs, there are lots of them in that region. Grandpa Morrison
