A good week!
We finally got some snow!! It was really like a light dusting but hey snow is snow. The pond in our backyard is frozen over so that's exciting.
Lighting the world has been going good, so that's awesome
.
I attempted to make rice and beans like I had in Brazil. It was ehh. Really not that good, edible of course but I've got quite a bit of improving to do that's for sure. It's all a learning process anyways.
We had Zone Council and uhh yeah it happened.
We've been reading the Book of Mormon every night with an investigator and its amazing!!! I love that book!!
I play my guitar every night. I love it!
My older brother got married on Saturday and I got to call for a sec and watch them come out of the temple! It was a tender mercy to even be able to experience that much of it. I'm so happy for them!
We went crazy on Saturday and texted EVERY person in our Areabook with an invite to church on Sunday because it is the come and see one. We got a good amount of responses so that was awesome!
Working on more talents.
We've had many many lessons fall through this week but it's ok, we keep pushing along.
Holidays are real weird on the mission but I'm excited for Christmas! I got robbed of one last year so I'm excited for it this year!
I hope everyone is feeling the light of Christ stronger than ever during these days leading up to the celebration of His birth
Love y'all and would love a Christmas email from you!!
Love,
Elder Morrison

Hey Elder Morrison, Grandpa and I are just staying in our home this Christmas and not going anywhere. We are very happy that Collin and Maddie were married and we also saw the video that your dad made to show at their reception. It was really nice to see. They seem to be very much in love which will make a good marriage. It seems that you are doing alot of service there but then, it is the best to be out in the air and then you can discuss gospel type subjects when you all work together. YOu are doing a great job and we pray for our family missionaries every day. We have you and Braden { Elder Morrison also)out and one of my great nieces(Cassie Oler) is in Chicago, which is really a crime filled state but she is doing OK. Another of my great nieces is Sarah Gardner who is here in Mesa but not in our stake. We have seen her once. Her family lives in Virginia, her grandpa is my brother, Donald, who has now passed away. George has a great niece out also that is in Maryland. So there are five out now! You look like you are having fun when you are working in your overalls. We will need to hear you play some guitar when you get home! You started wanting to play when you were younger but I guess that fizzled out! Now you REAllY want to play and are working at it. Keep up the good work. Love, Grandma Morrison. By the way, I guess you knew that I had cancer- Non Hodjkin Lymphoma,I am now cancer free and in remission, So I am so grateful for everyone's prayers that many friends and family have said for me and my well being. I am sure that helped me get through it all! I felt positive and at peace with it most of the time, Until I got pneumonia and was in the hospital for 6 days. That also was a good thing to look back on because I was able to have some more tests and was treated. I am feeling quite good now and am finished with The treatments (chemotherapy and somr radiation) I do appreciate any prayers that have helped me on the road to recovery. We are staying close to home for Christmas though. I love to read your blog and how and what you are doing to find people that are looking for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work by giving service! Love, Grandma Morrison
